SPE Professional Development Course: Half Brexit?

The next Professional Development Course is “Half Brexit?”, tutored by Prof Vicky Pryce FAcSS. A half-day course, delegates can choose Morning (10am-1pm) or Afternoon (2pm-5pm). Course price: £145.00

Vicky Pryce is one of the UK’s best-known economists. She is a former Joint head of the Government Economic Service and is widely acknowledged as a leading expert on the EU. Vicky is currently Chief Economic Advisor for CEBR. She will be tutoring this Society of Professional Economists course exploring the background, arguments, progress and the likely outcomes of the BREXIT negotiations.

The programme includes: Overview of the EU and the BREXIT process, strengths and weakness of the EU, the background to the BREXIT referendum, which arguments on each side are valid or invalid, not understood, doubtful or wrong? Democracy, trade, investment and immigration, the economic consequences of BREXIT, the likely outcomes of the ‘negotiations’, will the UK be happier after BREXIT? Questions and answers.
