The SPE has started the New Year with a resolution to reach out across the membership and bring the generations together through that universal bond - a drink! We will buy everyone who attends a drink with the goal of triggering informal conversations and networking between younger and older members. This is a great opportunity to meet other SPE members informally to talk about current economic themes and issues (what 2018 will look like seems a good starting point). You will have the chance to talk to peers about analytical challenges and to meet your next employer or your future employee. Do bring along non-SPE members as well and, if you are not a member but would like to come along, please do! 
 
Our inaugural pub evening will be on the 7th February 2018 from 6pm at the The Otherist, 111 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1AP - immediately opposite Tower 42.

There is no need to register formally for this event - just turn up - but if you wouldn’t mind pinging us an email to say you think you’ll be there, that would be very helpful for planning purposes.
