This masterclass will highlight recent developments and trends in the UK labour market with a particular focus on the Phillips and Beveridge curves.
The speaker, Brad Speigner, is the Bank of England’s senior labour market economist and works in the Structural Economics Division within the Monetary Analysis Directorate. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Edinburgh and his main research interest is in the macroeconomic application of equilibrium unemployment theory.
