Following the success of last year’s inaugural Society of Professional Economists Summer Drinks Reception, in partnership with King’s College London, we are delighted that this is being held again this summer. All SPE members are invited to join this unique networking event on the roof terrace of Bush House, with spectacular views over the Thames and surrounding area. This flagship event is a great opportunity for new members so please do share details with your colleagues in case they are interested in joining the Society and attending the event.  

This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues, contacts and fellow members of the Society. A number of special guests from across the UK economics profession will be in attendance, including members of King’s faculty and the SPE Council. SPE President Sir Dave Ramsden (Deputy Governor Bank of England) will welcome members to the event. We will also hear from Evan Davis, well-known BBC broadcaster.
