Over-50s now represent a rapidly growing share of the workforce and population. On the one hand many are economically inactive, contributing to nationwide talent shortages and reduced national productivity. On the other hand, those who do remain active are increasingly likely to work into their 70s.
Should this be seen as a challenge or a good thing - and how does it play out for economists? What does a long, fulfilling career in economics look like? And how can economists continue to adapt, contribute, and find purpose as their careers evolve?
Join us for a live online webinar featuring a panel of highly experienced economists who have built diverse and impactful careers. They’ll share candid reflections on navigating career transitions, embracing uncertainty, and creating new opportunities beyond their original career path.
