On the sidelines of the Society’s Annual Conference, Sunil Krishnan talks to Philip Lane about how the European Central Bank has developed its policy strategy to govern the range of unconventional tools it has employed in recent years.  They also discuss ways of gauging the effectiveness of different tools, and how multi-national policy can co-exist with localised labour markets.
