Winner of the 2019/20 Rybczynski Prize announced!

At last night’s Annual dinner, the winner of the 2019/20 Rybczynski Prize essay competition was announced.

The winning esay was ‘How robots change the world: their impact on regional inequalities’ - co-authored by Edward Cone, Richard Holt and Michael Zielenziger from Oxford Economics.

Edward and Michael are US based and were unable to attend the event in person to receive the award, but we are delighted that Richard was able to be there in person. Sponsored by KPMG, the annual competition is held in memory of the late Tad Rybczynski, an eminent economist and former Chairman of the Society. Members can read a copy of the winning essay in the Reading Room.
