2023 Annual Conference Report

On Friday 17 November the SPE held its Annual Conference, generously hosted by Bloomberg LP in their flagship London office. The event was Chaired by Stephanie Flanders and comprised of a stellar line-up of speakers including Sir Dave Ramsden, Deputy Governor, Bank of England;  Sir Dieter Helm, Professor of Economic Policy, University of Oxford; Danae Kyriakopoulou, Co-head of the Bank of England’s Climate Hub; Mark Cliffe; Visiting Professor, LIBF and University of Exeter; Tera Allas, Director of Research & Economics; McKinsey & Co; Joseph Briggs, Senior Global Economist, Goldman Sachs; Sir Charles Bean, Professor of Economics, LSE; Ana Gãlvao, Senior Economist, Bloomberg and George Parker, Political Editor, FT.
