We start our 2023 events programme with a debate on the outlook for the UK economy, with two leading forecasters: Anna Titareva, UBS and Robert Wood, Bank of America.

Anna Titareva is an Executive Director in the European Economics team at UBS London, responsible for the UK and focusing on UK and Eurozone inflation modelling and business cycle monitoring. She is part of the team that has been ranked #1 in the Institutional Investor survey for Developed Europe since 2017. Anna joined UBS in 2017 from Nomura International, where she covered Eurozone economies. Anna holds Economics BSc from the University of Bath and Economics MSc from Birkbeck, University of London.

Rob Wood is a director and Chief UK Economist at Bank of America. Previously he was Chief UK Economist at Berenberg and Senior Economist at the Bank of England, where he worked for 12 years. He holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from the University of Warwick.
