SPE Courses Cost-benefit analysis with applied example will be held 9.30am–12.30pm 27th, 28th and 29th September 2022.
This course is ideal for analysts interested in an overview of cost-benefit analysis. This course begins by revisiting the foundations of cost-benefit analysis (CBA) before moving to topics of interest to practitioners, including the latest non-market valuation techniques, discounting, distributional analysis, regulation and CBA summary measures. Attendees will benefit from insights from the literature accompanied by case studies to illustrate key concepts. In the final session course participants will work on a specially designed applied example in excel that will allow them to generate costs and benefits suitable for an Impact Assessment.
