At last night’s Annual Dinner, the winner of the 2017/8 Rybczynski Prize was announced and our congratulations go James Plunkett for winning the £3000 prize. The essay competition is now in its 18th year, and is in memory of the late Tad Rybczynski, an eminent economist and long-served former Chairman of the Society. Members can read a copy of the winning essay “Big data is changing how consumer markets work” in the Reading Room.
