Martin Beck has been Lead UK Economist at Oxford Economics since March 2014. Prior to working for Oxford Economics, Martin spent almost two years at Capital Economics, where he worked on Capital’s UK macro and UK consumer services. He was responsible for producing UK macroeconomic analysis and forecasts on a national, sectoral and industry level. Before joining Capital, Martin was an economist in HM Treasury, where he worked in a variety of macroeconomic, microeconomic and policy roles. Martin has a first class degree in economics and a Master’s degree with distinction in economics from the University of London.
Neville Hill is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Global Economics and Fixed Income Strategy group in Fixed Income Research at Credit Suisse. He is also Head of the European Economics team. He and his team are responsible producing insightful and investible economic research and forecasts for the global economy. Together they support Credit Suisse’s clients as well as its sales and trading teams. Neville has been an economist at Credit Suisse since 1999. Prior to joining the firm he was an economist for the UK Government Economic Service, working in the EMU policy team at HM Treasury.
