
Our evening event on 17 March 2025 was with Mark Jeavons (CRU Group) and Donna Leong (DESNZ) who discussed some of the latest developments in climate change economics and policy. The event was hosted by Arup and chaired by Vanja Munerati, Head of Strategy, Arup.

Mark Jeavons is a seasoned sustainability and economics leader with over two decades of experience driving strategic innovation. As Head of Sustainability at CRU Group, he oversees the Economics and Sustainability Division, leading a team of experts to deliver cutting-edge insights and solutions across economics, sustainability, clean technology, and the energy transition. Prior to joining CRU, Mark held senior leadership roles at Aon, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s investment strategy, climate change research and responsible investment initiatives.
Donna Leong is Director of Analysis and Chief Economist at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Prior to this she held a number of senior roles within HM Treasury, BEIS and the ONS. Donna is a member of the Government Economic Service’s (GES) Corporate Board.
