Entries are invited for this year’s competition for the Rybczynski Prize. This prestigious award is given to the best piece of writing on an issue of importance to economists, and offers the opportunity to help your own work gain a higher profile among professional colleagues. A prize of £3000 is offered by the Society. It is awarded at the Society’s Annual Dinner on May 24th and the author(s) of the final shortlisted entries will be invited to the dinner as guests of the SPE. We are delighted to announce that this year’s guest speaker will be Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England.
Essays, which must be submitted by 11 April 2018 and should not have been published before 1 January 2017 ie. this prize is for work written and/or published between the start of the calendar year 2017 and the closing date.
